We have a recpient policy for mailbox manager that is not clearing deleted items for Blackberry users but clears deleted items for non-blackberry users fine. We run this each week at the same time. The event log shows the job completes with no problems, gives no errors, but leaves deleted items for all BB users.

Has anyone else come across this?

Increase your logging for mailbox manager. BB user or non BB user should have same experience with this.

BTW, you can set this as a group policy for outlook. We discovered people were using the deleted items as their filing cabinet. The illogical conversations about this practice were outright hilarious...

lol...been there. i finally just implemented a 60 day auto delete on trash via GP to fight the trash filers...
