Smile converting IPD files

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all, first time on the forums. Would like to know if there is a 3rd party software ultility that can read and convert ipd files to excel format. i have a ipd file with address info that needs to be converted to excel format.


any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

I know it's not what you asked, but if your BB is working you can "Configure PIM" from the Intellisync application. Uncheck everything but Contacts. Change Contacts to sync with ASCII Import/Export. Choose Export and give it a file name. When you sync, you'll get a CSV text file that can be opened directly with Excel. If you need to make changes, you can and import it back.

I found a program called 'textifire' that converts ipd files to csv. Its pretty easy to use, but it costs 10 bucks.
