Default Being blocked on BlackBerry messenger? Just a question

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone,

I just recently bought a BlackBerry so I am new to this forum.

I have a question about the BB messenger. I figured out that when you send someone a message and if they do not answer after one minute, a little clock shows up on the face. Apparently you can click on a feature and put "Set Alert" so when that person shows up, your phone rings and indicates that they are now available.

I have been trying to get a hold of my girlfriend on BB messenger, but when I message her and I click on the "set alert". It remains like that for hours (like 10hours) and I know she didn't just leave her phone at home or anything. Could it be possible that she blocked me? Or what other possibilities are there?

Sorry for the long message, I would appreciate a nice response.

It's also possible her BB is turned off and your message is not being delivered. Or she could be in an area where she gets no data reception, like at her desk in a cubicle in an office building.

I didn't ask her. We are not talking rightnow (fight). LOL

Well, how would you block someone? Don't you have to delete them? Are there any other possibilities? Thanks for your answer

I am like 95% sure it is not that because if that were the case, then it would have those waves beside the face, correct me if I am wrong.

But like I said, I am 95% sure it is not turned off, because when I called her cell, it rang!

Sometimes it will ring a couple of times even if the cell phone is off. Other times it will not ring and go straight to voicemail. This is dependent upon the status of the network, and shouldn't be used to determine whether or not the phone is on or off.

There's your clue.

She could have deleted you from her BBM.

But when I send the message it has the check mark beside it and the letter "D" meaning delivered right?
