Hi everyone,

Here is my issue : I already had a Bold and i bought a new one (Torch) on the internet and it haven't arrived yet. I had to sell my bold and in order to keep my contacts, pictures,... i used the desktop tool to switch my data from my bold to my torch (that i still don't have). Well, i was a kind of confused using the tool and i imported the data on my laptop. I wanted to kept it opened until i receive my torch and then i would have been able to complete the transfer..

But during the night, my laptop made the updates and then automatically restarted.. AND OF COURSE THE TOOL CLOSED AS WELL AS THE COMPUTER!!!

And now i'm wondering if all my data's are lost or if there is a way to recover
(at least my contacts)

The data would still be available on your laptop as an .ipd file ( in Programs > Research in Motion > Blackberry Folder )if you have used the BlackBerry Desktop Manager to do the backup from your Bold .Once you connect your new BB Torch ( once you recieve it ) , all you need to do is do a restore from BB Desktop Manager. Hope this helps.
