Just got a message from AT&T.

"In October and Novermber, all users with a mycingular.blackberry.net email address will be changed to a new att.blackberry.net email address. This change will occur automatically during this period."

my phone said invalid sim so i turned it off and started it back up and i had this message.

Same here. Got the message twice in one day. It will be easier to write now.

You can go ahead and change it in your email options... send the service books to your phone afterwards and it will update the address on your BB.

Just followed your steps and now my email is @att.blackberry.net, sweet!

hmm i tried it even logged in via BlackBerry Internet Service and deleted my old blackberry email account and went to remake it. still asked me if i wanted a mycingular.blackberry.net

Just log into your BIS. Click on "edit" next to the @ mycingular.blackberry.net address. Change the email fields that carry the @mycingular.blackberry.net extension to @att.blackberry.net extension. Save this. Finally, send yourself the service books. You blackberry email on your device should now show the @att.blackberry.net extension. If you'd like, send a test email. This is what worked for me. Hope it helps!
