The blackberry app world icon on my 9780 has disappeared after the upgrade to version 3.1.2.32 I am able to view the same as installed under applications. I have multiple battery pulls , uninstall-->battery pull -->re-install --->battery pull but nothing helps. It is not in hidden mode. i have not installed any application after trying to upgrade Appworld. I'm running OS v6.0.0.294 (Bundle 905 , Platform 6.5.0.54) which is the one supported by my Carrier.

Any pointers on how to get back the icon would be appreciated. Is there any way to get the application launched if the icon is missing?

You can go to Options>Device>Application Management and look for it under installed apps. You can hit the menu button and then choose delete.

@ZombieBerry : I've done that multiple times. Everytime I re-install, it says application installed successfully . However, the App world icon does not show up. I've done multiple battery pulls after re-insallation but it doesnt seem to help.
