I have a question before i purchase this BB.

If i have my calendar set between 5am-11pm.

I set an appointment in the future for 2pm. My default view is Monthly so i scroll over to that day then it shows the daily view. Will it go straight to 5am or will it go to the first appointment which is the 2pm appt?

I had this problem with my 8700 when i upgraded the software and it annoyed me enough to downgrade so it works properly. I don't understand why it starts at the top that makes no sense when you have no appt before 2pm for example

It goes to the first appointment on the current date. However on future days it will go straight to the top where you have the start of your calendar setup say 5am instead of the appointment that day say for example 1pm.

Is there a fix for this?

In the Monthly view, it goes to the first appointment on EVERY day not just the current date.

What OS do you have? this is not what i see with OS6

I just downgraded to os 5 and you are correct it works fine. Not sure why in 6 this does not work.

You have OS version 6.0 on the 8700??

No on 8700 the latest version what ever it was did this, and on 9700 it does the same thing so i had to downgrade on both BB's
