I got the 8130 when I moved to verizon because it was the cheapest. I have had them all the 8700, 8800 and the 8300. I love the pearl the best because of the size. I have to say though it took me a week to get used to the sure type!

Great product. i chose the 8100 because of the size - fits in my shirt pocket at work. personaly, i'm hooked on the sure-type. I had a sd card go bad on me, otherwise i have not had a single problem. those i did have were answered by the great folks on this site.

Absolutely smaller form factor...easy to carry out and same functions. It's the great balance between a real smartphone and a cell phone. It has everything a smartphone has in the form factor of a cellphone.

Great Pearl!

I have had the 8700, 8100, 8800 and now the Curve. I loved the Pearl the best because of the size. If the Pearl 2 had come out before the Curve so that I could have had Wifi I would have bought the Pearl 2.

I also support the company's cell phones/BES that I work for and the President of our company wanted the Curve. Knowing he would have questions on how to setup the Wifi I bought one for myself. It is a good mix of the two phones (Pearl and 8800). I like the size better than the 8800 and I like having a full keyboard. But the Wifi is the best feature for me. I miss my Pearl on the weekends when I throw the phone in my pocket, but the Curve is still way better than my old 8700!
