Is there anyway to play music over a bluetooth headset on a Motorola H3 from a 8830? I've seen my dad to it with his pocket pc but he had a stereo jabra.

Nope. If it isn't a stereo headset, there is no way it will work. The bluetooth headset doesn't have the correct bluetooth profiles for music over BT

As noted, With out a BT stereo headset, you cant listen to music. However, If you want to invest in the Stereo Headsets, you can listen to music and then switch over to a phone call seamlessly with just a push of a button.

Some non stereo headests can receive streamed music. I have a Jabra BT8040 that can. It is not high fidelity and it is obviously not stereo, but it can do it. There aren't many. It cost more than $40.

I use a Plantronics PLT 510 v.G head set and I listen to BerryTunes with it. I even use the same headset on my Desktop PC with a TrendNet blue tooth dongle. My phone is a T-Mobile BlackBerry OS 4.2.1.74 and it works great.

Ummm do you guys buy stuff at retail or what? I did some looking on ebay, found a generic a2dp stereo headset for 30 bucks and a motorola for 40. Heck I got my 8830 for 230 bucks. Retail is for Sucka Emcees!

I picked up a stereo headset from here. I got the cheap $30 headset to listen to tunes at work, and use a Jawbone the rest of the time. I found a coupon code that took order + shipping to under $30, and it arrived in Ohio from Hong Kong in five days.
