Just received word back from O2 (UK) that there releasing the 8120 on October 22nd, Already handed in my 30 days termination elsewhere

Anyone know any actual release dates for any other networks.

voda have the 8310 and orange the 8820 already. Dont think o2 are taking either up anytime soon.

Here in the states there rumors that Sprint will launch the 8130 (with GPS) in late november.

T-Mobile UK now have the 8310 Coming Soon in October. The 8120 is in the O2 in-store magazine (Blue) for October.

Called into an O2 shop in London on Tuesday (9 Oct) to ask about the 8120 - the staff were unsure of the exact release date, though they thought it would be "within the next month or two".

All I have to do now is work out how to persuade them to let me upgrade midway through the contract!

My experience with O2 in the UK is that you can ask any number of different people and you will get a different answer from each. Considering they are a comms company they seem to be unable to communicate within the company. Carphone Warehouse are just as bad.

The few reps that have given dates for o2 have all given the same one it seems atleast. If only one of the other networks had a date as id rather avoid o2 still. But anyways.

How about a release date for T-Mobile's 8120? Hopefully by Xmas.

I was in ATT Store yesterday and was told the 8120 would have GPS, expected around Thanksgiving. Read, release is basically timed to coincide with start of x-mas holiday buying season.
