Exclamation blackberry user El Salvador

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone, i have one tiny problem ... i can't connect to internet from my blackberry 8100. The thing is i purchased it (not precisely with the intention of internet browsing) but since i CAN (or at least i'm supposed to be able to) surf the net I'm trying to configurate it to do so. I DON'T have a data plan with my company (TIGO El Salvador) but i've been reading that somehow you can bypass that and connect without subscribing to a data plan, with a third party software (e.g: Opera mini). I got the APN and gateway number for my company, but i can't input the gateway number. I've read that this is because of BES or BIS configuration. So my question is ¿How can i be able to input the gateway number and connect to internet? Thanks for the help.

You cant do it.

You MUST have a data plan, at least a basic one, to use the internet on your phone.

you need at least some sort of a data plan even though casual, and if you GOOGLE blackberry without BIS/BES, you will find your answer on the top. GOOGLE is GOD

Talking Actually .... i can

Hey, now i CAN use internet on my phone ... I just changed my SIM card, i mean, bought a new one (with a differente phone number obviously) and when i inserted in on the BB and tried the browser, it connected immediately!. It's actually more convenient, since i could get carried away browsing with my own number.
