OTA link is not working. At least not ALL the time. I kept trying it and it did work after a while.

Great application, and free which is a bonus!

Is this like the other vibe/ring aps... you have to set profile to ring (and not vibe and ring)?

No. All you have to do is install it (it will be enabled by default). I think it might only work for the "Normal" sound profile, though.

The device's "vibe and ring" profile setting does this. If that's what you want, just don't install any special programs to vibe and ring together.

I'm a bit confused... I'm sure that I saw somewhere. I believe The program's faq page.. says that yes you do have to set phone profile setting to ring only.

You're right. Sorry I didn't clarify this. Don't use a "Vibrate + tone" for your current profile.

Looking more for an app that allows the phone to vibrate, say 4 times and then ring.

Are you being sarcastic?
If not: By setting your current profile (out of holster or in holster, whichever is appropriate) to "Vibrate+Tone" and setting the "Number of Vibrations" to 3, your phone will vibrate 3 times then ring. You don't have to install anything.

Default Not working on 8220

It installed ok and it automatically changed my ring setting to 'Tone' automatically, but my phone just rings, even though 'vibrate' is chosen in Buzz me.

I tried versions 0.0.34 and 0.0.12 after reading post from Violator

Any suggestions?

You can't install jad or jar files with Desktop Manager, as those are only for OTA (over-the-air, aka wireless using data plan) connections. What you need is to search the forums about how to convert this Jad file into an ALX and COD file. Once that is done, click Add/Remove Applications > Browse > click on the ALX or COD file.
