Right below that text, I get a link that says "Upgrade Now for the Price of $0.00"
I clicked it, and it takes you through an Order Process for Premium Edition at no charge.
After you complete the checkout process, you get a link to download Premium Edition OTA.
Version # is 1.002.011

Could be carrier specific.
Seems like the three successful attempts for users in this thread were all on AT&T.

Darn, they must have taken down the link - now when you try to purchase the premium version it says "At the current time, this product is still under development and unavailable for purchase or trial."

It let me place the order for $0.00 as shown below, but then when I try to download the "premium" edition, I get the following message:

Wirelessly posted

There is no apparent way to delete files once you create them...

I forgot to mention that soon after I posted my inability to download the premium version, I finally got it working. The excel has quite an impressive feature set though the powerpoint seems to be lacking....

No. The first install is the 4.5 Core appps. You will see that the boxes for the core OS apps are checked and cannot be unchecked. Once these are installed (core), then the other apps outside of the base OS can be installed (ie Docs 2 Go, password keeper, etc...)

So, let's say that I got a little delete happy and decided to delete Docs to Go from my BB via Options... Apps in a futile attempt to troubleshoot my issue where word and excel e-mail attachments won't open at all.

Needless to say, this didn't fix my issue and I now no longer have Docs to Go installed. I'd like to reinstall it, but I don't see it as an option under App Loader. If I click on Add to manually select it it tells me it couldn't find anything appropriate for my device.

I have installed and got it working. Can you "save" an attachment from an email so that it can be edited in Docs-to-Go? Or how do you set it up so that you can view / edit documents from an email?

[EDITED] I guess that maybe my BES policies do not allow "downloading" attachments, I only have option to "open attachments" which send the documents to the default viewer with no editing capability. Does anyone know a change to that?

It doesn't allow you to save attachments directly to the card. However, you can open them and save them to your "My Documents" on their server. Then you can move them from the server to your SD card. That's what I do.

Okay John. But I simply do not see an option in the message menu for saving the attachment anywhere. What menu option should I be seeing when I view a message with an attachment? Is there something I need to do to "Add-in" docs-to-go for additional menu options? Phone did complete a reboot after the upgrade installed.

Disregard....Sorry. I was thinking of BeamBerry.

Docs to Go can't download attachments yet.

Thanks. I hope "yet" is the key word. The DTG tools look pretty good but unless they can be used to work on email attachments they are basically of no use.

Default Download Premium

I purchased a $ 0 the premium edition and then try to download but i couldnt, so i wrote email to dataviz and this was the answer:

"Your download count has expired for the free upgrade of Documents To Go Premium Edition v. 1. No purchase was made. To be able to redownload the product, you will need to purchase the Download Insurance Plan for $4.99 that will provide you with 10 additional downloads for a 12-month period. Just click on the following link:

http://www.dataviz.com/purchase/

After purchasing, you may need to log out and log in again to complete the transaction.

I hope this information is helpful to you and please let me know if I can be of further assistance."

So i did it and purchased the insurance plan, then they sent me an email with the download link and it works, i downloaded without problems. The premium edition its working fine, but i had to delete the docstogo alx file from the OS carpet because it tried to degraded docs to go to the standard version.
This its no the end of the story, minutes ago i received other mail from Dataviz (other person sent it) and said:

"The current pages on our site to purchase the Premium Edition are for testing purposes only. That's why the price of the product is $0. Any orders for the Premium Edition will be deactivated prior to the release of the product.

We apologize for any inconvenience, but unfortunately, some versions of the software were made public that contain links that were set up for testing purposes only. Once the Premium Edition is available, these links will be corrected."

Weird, i dont know what will they plan to do with the people who downloaded the premium edition or in my case people who paid the insurance plan. Best regards to all.
