Thats what I paid for a 8700 when I bought it.. right now for a 8310 they ask ~210 usd.... I'll ask a friend to see what price they give him with an enterprise contract (i bet it would be around 250 bux with a 6 month commitment) He just got a quote for a 8310 for 40 USD.
I think its still a 'resonable' price considering that TELCEL is known for raping us with their high cellular prices

Is this the first time that RIM has chosen to release a major platform all over the world before releasing it in the US? Is it "punishing" AT&T for choosing to release the iPhone-3G first? Even Mexico gets it before us ;)

I don't know what you have heard or seen , but not everybody in Mexico is after "you" , and most of us Mexicans work for a living , heck I even got my own business , but hey maybe you should ease up those cheap movies huh ??

Why is that ?? will it work differently ?? will you not get your emails ?? does it say "eh!!!" in the morning ?? does it have a prime minister ?? was it made by a guy named Gordon , does it automatically change from "Roll" to "BUN" ??

Anywho . . .

I don't believe that this is RIM punishing AT&T, based on a previous thread:
http://www.blackberryforums.com/showthread.php?t=150595
It appears that the iPhone 3G caused disruption with AT&T's data network which resulted in the delay of release.

At&t has effectively moved the US into a 3rd world technology catagory by delaying the bold! This is really the icing on the cake! Now, countries we loan billions of dollars and technology to can bring new technology to market faster than we can. Wow -

By Monday next week, we will all be broke with the current US financial issues and have no technology.

Dude . . . you really should take a look of got we got in Mexico , and another thing , where or who says that mobile phones are made only for USA ?? I have an HTC Diamond and a Bold , that's another phone that is not available in the USA , I bought it online , I really do think you are just being not a good sport , you should really really pick your words , economy has nothing to do with a stupid phone , heck I sell you mine if it's that important to you , so you don't feel bad of being a "3rd world technology user"

It's just a phone dude . . . just a phone

Ha ha ha... I can take all this... Did I insult you? - Sorry dude...
Look around you, hows your bank doing or did you not notice the news...?
And yes, I am still cranky about At&t's lack of marketing and ability to get the bold to market... (off my soapbox)
(where is foamy?)
