I saw on a web site the following info:

A: When using the BlackBerry Desktop Redirector for email redirection, attachments may be viewed on the handheld using third party applications.

As a newbie to Blackberries... Can someone suggest what software I need for this to work?

Here's a little trick I use on my 7520....when your desktop redirects a message to you with an attachment, from your BB simply Forward it to you webclient email address. Seconds later you'll see the same email show up, only now you'll be able to open the attachments. I also use Dynoplex package, but for quick and dirty try the first routine. Reqwireless also has attachment viewers I think, and all of these products have free trials! By the way, it also worked with the 7510.....

I have but one suggetion that is get rid of redirector and go with webclient it can intergrate all of your pop3 automatically just by adding the email username and password of each account or if you like the features of redirector webclient has a program called mail connector you can download that is a upgrade from redirector with less of the same draw backs both webclient and mail connector allow you to download your attachments
