Having trouble activating this device...

I am setting the activation code on the BES and then on the device i put in the email address and then the code and hit activate.

It then goes through the progress of activating..then changes to verifying encryption then the second it changes to encryption verified i get an error prompt saying error: contact system administrator!

any help much appreciated!!!

Do you mean the activation code I am putting in is incorrect??

Yes, the password you are using on the BB for activation does not match what is on the BES. You are typing it incorrectly or it has reached it's expiry period on the BES.

I always advise setting the password as 'm' or 'a'.

Hi gibson, thanks for the bit of help so far, well i tried again with m as password (this is after a hard reboot and re install of blackberry application on device)

now its just sitting at activating....

Good signal and its on to HSDPA rather than GPRS!

any more ideas?

Also its a lotus notes email database i am trying to setup!
