Default What the heck is that slot on the top?

I can't find any info. What's that rectangular slot on the top of the 8100???

Default Hey

If you take of the Backplate you can see the speaker there and that is all. That is What the slot is for is to let the sound out so its not so muffled. My best guess. But probably right.

Im usually not wrong but I tried it, and it works! I also have been doing some research and the things I have been able to do with that little slot is:

I use the slot to clean out all of the dust out of my pockets. It's like a miniature vacuum cleaner with bluetooth.

I inserted a SIM card in there and it enabled my phone to call other phone numbers.

I've also put MicroSD cards in there to expand the Pearl's memory. Works like a charm!

This slot was for lazer light in emergency, but they forget to add this functionality......
So as someone said it can be used as vaccum to grab pocket dust if top is down in pocket.....


Above information are rumers only....actually it is for Speaker, for sure
