I absolutely love the Curve. Its the best BlackBerry I have used (previously had the 8800, Pearl, and 8703e).

Love my Curve. It's my first ever Blackberry and I plan on keeping it for a log time. Dang durable too... I've dropped it twice and has come out with just a couple small dings I've touched up with matching nail polish (I got the red one).

Default The Curve is the Greatest

I have had the curve for about 7 months now and still have only one problem, it does not run on the HSDPA network. This phone is a great device far superior to the pearl. Especially with all the new features offered with the 4.3 OS coming out soon, the Curve is an excellent pda phone that I strongly recommend and feel is one of the best phones on the market.

Yes best device I have ever used. I don't use the media stuff too much. Have a Nano too, but for the core apps its great.

I use mobile phones since 1992 and the Curve is the only device that I don't throw away after 6 months. I used a multitude of push email solutions, in my experience, BB Curve is the best there is.

I would fully recommend it to anybody who needs a real business-smartphone-and partially entertainment device.

Regards,
Ralf

Greetings all, and happy to add to the list of folks recommending the Curve. Wife started with a Pearl and when I upgraded her to a Curve I quickly became Pearl fan. I recently upgraded to a Curve myself and now our 14 yo daughter is the happy owner of the Pearl. They are both great phones and each has their following.

I would without hesitation recommend the Curve *if* you think you need the additional features (Querty keyboard, GPS, etc...) or simply want a larger screen on your phone. I just got back from a 3 day business trip with my new Curve and it performed flawlessly. I really liked the Pearl, but I REALLY love the Curve.

Hehe ........... you should do up a colour match system for us. I have the 8310 Graphite; which polish should I use for touch-ups.

If it fit a person's needs/wants, yes. Even the Curves has different features depending on the model number.

The curve is great in my opinion. Just be sure and decide whether internal gps or wifi is important to you. You can't have both. I have wifi so an external bluetooth gps is necessary.
Of course I ussually know where I am without the gps. Using google maps works good enough in most cases.
The screen is a good bit bigger than the Pearls. The qwerty key pad is pretty handy, once you get used to it.The camera works pretty good. I wish it could shoot video, but I guess you can't have everything.

I haven't had my Curve long, but you will fall in love with it quick. I can hardly put this thing down.
I have never tried the Pearl, but personally don't believe I would like the smaller keyboard. I have FAT fingers
