Thumbs down Im pissed, We are just a bunch of Beta Cows.

Please Login to Remove!

I cant believe RIM with such a stellar record of rock solid devices would put out such a POS.
We pay good $$ for this Storm POS and we are the ones that have to deal with all the problems. We sit here clamoring for an OS upgrade to make the thing work the way it was intended to work and still its sucks. I didnt think I was going to Pay to be a Beta tester.

Everyone that asks me if I like it I tell them NO!! and dont get one for a while, I think it sucks. MOOOOOOOOOO

The storm is amazing. I could list many reasons why I like it better than the curve but I'm too lazy.. anyway.

Have you updated the OS?

Sounds to me like you paid your money to be their beta tester. Next time you should try the other way around.

Many people love it. Many don't.

You have been here long enough to know exactly what I mean.
Really.... Can you honestly tell me you think it was the right thing for RIM to release this device in its current state of function compared to its previously released devices.
So the Beta cows like me can test it for them????

Honestly? Yes.

I see just as many posts from users who love the Storm as those who are hating it, and that is a culmination from several BB-related sites. And remember, that is only from those who frequent forums. The others routinely are users who are frollicking merrily along enjoying their device.

If you got it for $199.00 awesome deal. If you paid $549.99 you wanted it bad and wanted to be an early adopter and to be a show it off. Either way you are only half way through your 30 days at most. Return it.

The Storm is worth every penny and will only get better.

Agreed Troy!

Like any of the BBs, they all had there issues when release, but as time goes on, they get better. At least RIM is working on it and getting the updates out there. Look that the G1, released, had issues... Some were fixed...

Like any other smart phone out there, there will be some issues, but they will only get better (except the iPhone of course...) LOL can go without some iPhone bashing

Look at all the people who paid full price for the original iPhone when it first came out (DAY 1, me included) and "beta tested" . How did CRAPple thank us. They dropped the price 200.00.

Unfortunately they all do it. I do think Apple is the worst though.

Personally no matter what RIM did they were going to shoot themselves in the foot... It's a touchscreen so it's going to be a love or hate type thing, I know I hate touchscreens so I most likely will NEVER get the storm I prefer my full physical qwerty keyboard. Plus I give it a good couple of months of OS updates before the Storm a true reliable BlackBerry

Wirelessly posted (9000)

Try using a Bold on .126 like mine was shipped with.

We all ***** and moan when a device DOESN'T get released...then everyone *****es that its OS sucks.

Can't win...

I always considered myself more of a beta bull due to the original equipment.

They should fire the idiots who let this phone leave the factory in this state. BlackBerry is actually commiting fraud by advertising this junk as good to go. My first BlackBerry and I feel as though I have been taken for a major ride. I spent my first day pulling the battery as the phone continued to freeze. The screen/typing issues are by choice, as you know what your getting upfront, but for God's sakes there is no reason to have a phone that has so many basic bugs. I don't want an I-Phone, I want this to work.

I was so excited to get rid of my Treo 755 too.........this sucks.

So upgrade to 4.7.0.75, enjoy the device, and then stop your childish whining.
