I tried these tricks, but no joy. I have no problem with Google Maps or Amazegps talking to the Freedom puck, but Nav4all just won't do it. I suppose this should be in a separate thread, but since I seem to be the only one having problems, it's probably not really needed.

I have not been able to get Nav4All to work with my puck / 8100 either. I put in a helpdesk ticket to them, but no response. yet.

For what it's worth, my install of Nav4All also wouldn't find my Freedom 2000 puck if I did the "Search GPS..." function under the "Set up GPS" menu. However, after selecting "LAPI advanced" in that dialog the application does pick up the GPS now. But, if I try to do the GPS search it still says it can't find my GPS. Kind of strange, but...

Also, I am running both Nav4All and AmazeGPS. Neither application consistently locates my GPS first time launching, sometimes I need to restart the application in order for it to pick it up, while Google Maps and BB Maps consistently find my GPS. Nav4All and AmazeGPS each leave me a little underwhelmed at times but they each have lots of potential, especially for free apps.
