i rarely get around to looking at regular posts here anymore, but i will say that i am very impressed with the design of the website. the functionality enhancements on there (resize, etc) are simply fantastic. and the advertising is very reasonable (small banner on the bottom).

keep up the good work!

I finally got around to put up the members section, which now supports the hide/show ability you've all been waiting for . If there are images that you uploaded previously and you would like them moved to your account you can email me or pm me in the forum: http://blackberryimages.com/forum

I know there were a few other features I wanted to add to the members section, but I just can't think of them right now

Glad I came across this. Began uploading images to my website today for the 7100 series (240 x 260), but now I think I'll just contribute to your site instead! Since I've been cusomizing wallpapers for my Cingular phone, most of them compensate for the 20 -30 pixel obstruction at the top, and right-aligned navigational text. I hope they're a worthy contribution! You can find them here until I get around to uploading to your site.

Cheers!
JR

P.S. A lot of mine are comic-themed. Which category do you recommend?

Good stuff. I still prefer to make my own, b/c I'm so particular about the cropping/resizing of the images, but this is an excellent resource for people who don't want to be bothered w/ the effort on their end. Major props for putting all of this together for free!

I might be the minority on this, but I like the ad. It's not easy/cheap putting all that together, and I'd like to see you make a few bucks. Too many sites have started out free, and then have terrorized users w/ "advertising overkill" later to recoup losses.

My only advice would be to beware of legal issues. Adult content in an open area can get you (and your users) in hot water. A lot of hosts don't allow adult material at all. I would contact them and get an official word on it, just to be safe. I also see quite a few professional images. As long as they're not stamped or watermarked w/ a "copyright" then you should be ok (although it might be worth noting that all images have an implied and inherent copyright, be they stamped or not,) as they fall under the "fair use" category.

Default Resource for 7100 users

Love the blackberryimages.com site, but like TheWastedYears I am very particular about image cropping, particularly with the tall form factor of the 7100. I've posted over 100 desktops for the 7100 at http://invertedcommas.net/bb7100/

Let me know what you think.

Cheers!
John
