[QUOTE=srl7741]Which phone are you trying to install these themes on?
Do you have os 4.1 or higher?

I have the Blackberry 7130c and am running 1.1.0.14 on the Plazmic Theme Reader and 4.1.0.321 on the Desktop Manager. I did download the Themes following the same instruction set that you have on your website. All I can get them to do is go into the Applications side of the BB, but they do not show up in the Themes.

just upgraded to 4.1.1.9 of Desktop Manager, started over from scratch trying to get the Application Loader to recognize these files and it does not recognize any of them. Do the Themes and Plazmic file have to be in the Desktop Manager Apploader or Shared Folder? I see some files in the Java folder (ie net_rim_xxxx and so on), but I am not sure if I should put the files there or not? I was just loading the new Themes in a folder on the desktop and then adding them with the Application loader.

I have done the battery reset several times, but the reader file being installed incorrectly was my next thought. So I did the OTA install of that file. Now I have (in the Options > Applications) a file listing of:

com_plazmic_theme_reader 1.1.0.14

and then a Theme I downloaded, but that Theme does not show up in Themes; it only shows in the Applications menu. So my guess is that this reader is installed incorrectly somehow?

new issue that I just found when using the Application loader. It will not load any new .alx from anywhere and there is a grayed out message saying

No system software was found for your device. Contact admin for software.

But this makes no sense as I have Desktop Manager on the desktop that this BB synch's to. Is this some other software that I am not aware of?

Any chance you are on BES? If so your I.T staff have not given you the permissions/rights to install 3rd party apps.

Your I.T staff or those who put you on BES. They will be able to help with your install issues.

will do. In the Permissions (in Applications and then hitting the Edit Permissions screen), I have DENY only on the Keystroke Injection and Browser Filters and Allow on all else. That was why I was thinking that this would download that content with no problem. I did not think about IT having the permissions on the BES server as something else.

Weird thing though is that on my 7100g, I could download all of these items with no problems. I did have the 4.1 Bharti software on that device though and this 7130c has the Cingular version that I got from the thread that Jibi posted with DT upgrade software.
