Angry App Error 200

Please Login to Remove!

Has anyone been able to overcome the "app error 200" message? This is a brand new Pearl, first Enterprise Activation, about 81% into Activation, it gave the error.

Rebooted it numerous times, it would only come up to the spinning hour glass.

The device will not get past the spinning hour glass at all? You'll need to wipe the device using javaloader or JL_CMDER and use Desktop Manager/Application Loader to reload the OS.

click here for the latest OS's: http://www.blackberryforums.com/rim-...ry-device.html

Thanks,

Correct...all it gets is the spinning hour glass. This is not the first Pearl issue I have had, because of the number I am rolling out, I have been given permission by management to send faulty Pearl's back.

So if it comes with an OS issue, it goes back to Cingular.

We have recently made the decision that we are not rolling out Pearl's to our sales force. They get to chose between 8700 and 7130's. The Pearl's we have tried to roll out have been buggy.

Hmmm...I haven't had a problem with them. I've done several (Tmo's) just in the last few days. As with any of the BB models I always update the OS to the most current (now Cingy .71 for the Pearl) before activating them. Then I plug them into the DM (as I don't have direct BES access) and just switch pin's when it asks. Then I let EA do the work. So far, it's been 100% for me. Everyone is happy!
