Ok folks...after a 60 day Droid X experiment, I've decided to come back to my trusty VZW Tour 9630. I did a complete wipe, called VZW to switch me back to my berry plan and after activation- voila: all my email accounts automatically came back. I guess my BIS email account was never given away!

So, I decided to give Google Contact sync via BIS a try. It worked great...all of my contacts from my Droid X appeared on my Tour and I'm all set. That is, until I try to add a new contact picture!

I link my BBM contact to the address book contact and add a picture to that contact. Picture shows up in address book and BBM. All's great for the next hour or so, when POOF- Picture gone.

I suspect that the BIS Google Contact sync is at work...but don't know for sure. Anyone out there have any ideas/suggestions? I really don't want to go back to manually syncing contacts, but I really want to have my contact pictures in BBM/address book/caller ID.

BTW...I'm at 5.0.0.732/1242, just in case that makes a difference. Thanks- It feels good to be back!
