Default Using Lotus Notes users credentials in Domino Directory lookups

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

We are using a secondary Domino Directory containing private contacts (documents visibility restricted to some users and/or groups via Lotus Domino standard Readers fields).

When a user makes a lookup on his BlackBerry device, he retrieves both public and private contacts.

The problem is that this user has not necessarily read access on the retrieved private contacts. The user device lookup returns then private contacts as public contacts, bypassing the access restriction set on the data.

In the BES/Domino settings, is it possible to enable Lotus Notes users credentials on corresponding users devices for Domino Directory lookups ?

Thank you.

No way - BES uses the Domino server's server id to perform the lookup.
