Default Can't open links in emails on 9800

Please Login to Remove!

Hello Everyone,

I am getting an "Invalid Address: www.****.com" (**** are for whatever address there is a link to) when i click the link on the the touch screen or use the trackpad. The same links on the 9700 work fine and open the link. The links are valid, if i cut and paste the link to the address bar it works fine. Any suggestions. Seems like it might be just a setting or something simple.

Thanks,

Mike

P.S. this is a BIS account

Yes . HTML is Enabled. It only seems not to work if it is just a text email with a link. If it is a an HTML email and I click on a photo or button it will open then. Otherwise it just say "invalid address:" Even the notification email sent about this thread, wheni clicked the link, i got the "Invalid address: http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...-new-post.html "

It's a little frustrating and time consuming if I have to cut and paste every link thats emailed to me.
Edit: I tried disabling HTML and I still got the error message.I went back and Enabled HTML. Still no luck.

Resolved. Sort of. I wiped the device and reinstalled os6. Backed up apps one at a time and everything is working fine now.
