Default Voice Navigation issue

Please Login to Remove!

Hello All,

I've tested a few GPS programs (Nav4All, Amaze, Copilot) but all the time the voice navigation seems to cut before it finish, like instead of hearing Turn left, it just said "Turn le" do you think is a setting on my device? I found really strange that on all the software I had tested it does the same thing.
Any advise will be appreciated.

Are you trying to listen through your blue tooth headset or just through the speaker?

I've used the Amaze and Nav4All on my 8830 with Verizon and the Keychain puck. Amaze chopped all the voice directions like you said. However, I've never had a problem with Nav4All. Amaze knows there's a software issue they still need to work on. Never heard of that problem with Nav4All, so it must be some peculiar software interaction with your particular phone. If you do find some setting to correct the problem, let us know!

I'm having the same issue with my Sprint 8330 running OS 4.5. Voice navigation instructions cut off after about 1 second with Mapquest Navigator, aMaze, and Nav4all.

Not sure where you are but I continue to believe that Telenav is the best out there.

Blackberry GPS Solutions (Blackberry Tips & Tricks from the Mods)

Give that one a 30 day try and see what you think. It should not cut if you have full signal.

Default Same problem here

I have a Sprint 8130 pearl OS 4.3 and both Amazegps and Nav4all cutoff on the sound, actually I don't get any sound at all in Amaze. I have tried a couple of things like reinstalling but still it's a no go.

Just as a data point, I've used Verizon's VZNav w/OS 4.5.0.89 and 4.5.0.97, and haven't noticed any of the voice commands getting cut off.

Haven't used any other voice programs w/4.5.

x2. No problems with voice prompts getting truncated.

I'm sure TeleNav is great, but I can't find a demo, and I don't need GPS often enough to justify another $10/month.

I just loaded updated OS to 4.5.0.97 from 4.5.0.77 and still have the same problem with voice prompts cut short.

I've had the same problem with Nav4all since the first release of 4.5. I've posted on their web site about it and haven't received any response. Amaze works fine after I found the secret is setting access parameters at download time not when you start the application.
