Using Missing Sync with my BB 8800. So far everything has worked as expected, except for the Address Book sync. Where I have 2 or more entries for any one category (i.e., 2 mobile numbers for one person, 2 'home' numbers for one person, etc.), only the last one transfers to the BB. I emailed Missing Sync, and they said this was a known issue.

My question: Is this a limitation of the BB or of the Mac-BB sync process? If I manage to move my Mac Address Book to one of the PC's at work, and install the BB desktop software there, will this solve the problem?

This is a real limitation because many of my contacts have multiple phone numbers per category. Thanks!

Now you mention it I'm seeing the same on my Pearl, which I have had less than a week. I'm new to Blackberry. Syncing Mac to Palm with Missing Sync for Palm does not have this problem, probably because it's a more mature application.

The only thing I noticed syncing Blackberry to Mac is events created in Calendar on the Pearl didn't make it into iCal. So, still some work to do by the look of it.
Or am I doing something wrong?

Its one phone number per field in Missing Sync. Here's the field breakdown, so only one mobile number, one work, etc:

Events created on the BlackBerry will transfer to iCal. Make sure you have a calendar selected in the calendar options "Put events created on device into"

Thanks! So the issue seems to be with the BB; there are limited fields allowed for contacts. Looks like I'll want to continue carrying either my iPod or my Nokia phone with me, then, as they store all of the phone numbers and emails from my Mac's Address Book.
