Default question about the 9300

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys,

I'm about to purchase a 9300 from eBay -- was just hoping for some feedback first. I've been using a 9700 for a year, but no longer have it. Since I'm buying at ebay prices, I'm looking for the cheaper option...

Being that I'm used to the 9700, will the 9300 be a let-down? The main thing I read about is that the screen quality being worse... is it that bad? Is there anything else?

Thanks!
J

Before you buy a used BB, you should read this from our FAQ: Buying a BlackBerry off eBay - BlackBerryFAQ

Thanks Dubdub. I'll be buying an AT&T Branded phone (I'm on AT&T) -- so the whole unlock process shouldn't be a problem. I've also been buying/selling on eBay for years, so I should be OK in that regard.

I'm more concerned with the screen quality between the 9300 and 9700.. is it THAT noticeable? I keep reading forums that say its too drastic to even consider a 9300. I also read that it isn't as noticeable with OS6... any truth to that?

Have not used either model, so I cannot say.

The FAQ article isn't about unlocking, it is about problems that you can have buying a used BB. Buying a used BB is much different from buying any other used cell device. There are several things you need to watch out for.
