My experience with other Operating Systems as I have tried them all:

862, very fast OS, but bad reception quality, problems with WiFi connectivity
714, very fast OS, execellent reception quality, WiFi works but only if you turn off data services before you enable WiFi then reenable data services.
680, very fast OS, excellent reception quality, WiFi works with data services on or off.

I have finally decided after so much testing and trial and error that this is best OS so far until OS 6 is released.

Don't trust me? Well that's a personal opinion you'll have to make on your own, but hey, you got nothing to lose it's only a few minutes to load an OS anyway. Try it out now and let us know your experience!

743......yes....Slower OS response....slower internet browsing than the usual.....WiFi problem, doesn't connect always...

The best 2 OSes for me in order right now is:

680: Perfect all round

714: Perfect but has a little glitch with the WiFi connectivity.

Try this OS dude, use it for a day.......and trust me youll feel you got a new phone.....

Before you do the upgrade......just for a test......

Go to your pictures folder....open any picture u want.....then start flipping between the pics using your trackpad (left or right rapidly)........then notice the speed....

try the same thing on 680 ;)

PS: It says on your profile you have a BB 9000??

Hi Matrix Leader,

Is this the same thing? : 9700jEastAsia_PBr5.0.0_rel1149_PL5.1.0.160_A5.0.0. 680_Hutchison.exe

If I install it, would I get same result? Is each variant of the same version the same?

Interesting. I have 862 and zero problems. Everything works fine. Strange.

Yea, mostly this thread is ONE user's opinion of his experience using this .680 release. It's not going to be the same across the board for every user.
