Default some keyboards more stiff than others?

Please Login to Remove!

has anyone gotten a few replacements (warranty) and noticed that some keyboards are more stiff than others? I had my NIB 9700 replaced because of a REAL stiff keyboard -- the replacement was great, except the headphone jack stopped working. They sent another one, and the keyboard seems stiff on this one (like the 1st)... called in for ANOTHER replacement, but it doesn't seem much better, and has a real dim screen, so I'm sticking with the original 1st replacement.

Am I out of my mind? Or are some of these keyboards more stiff than others? I feel my wrist/thumb joint starting to hurt after a lot of emails/bbms in one day...

Hi there!

Glad to hear I'm not the only one wondering about this issue I also got a replacement for my first Blackberry 9700 Bold one week ago and immediately noticed that the keyboard is much stiffer than the one of my previous BB. It's less comfortable to type, but I'm getting used to it ...

Long story short: Yep, some keyboards are stiffer than others ...

OK -- glad to hear I'M not alone, as well.... Have you noticed your keyboard loosening up a little? Or you're just getting used to it?

Is there a way to loosen it up? Or replace the keyboard without voiding the warranty? I wouldn't mind giving it a shot before bothering them for another device. I think over my 'career' with AT&T, I've done well over 20 replacements... I'm at the point where I know their terms/conditions better than the service reps ( by the way, they can always upgrade you to priority shipping for free ).
