I looked somewhere that the Service Pack 2 for the Blackberry Desktop Manager solved many of the common problems with application loading. What's its version, 4.0.0.33 or 4.0.0.30?

I can't find sync email and Folder Management Tools in BlackBerry Desktop Software installed on PC. Who know why? While installing it, select international email not BES mail. Version is 4.0.0.30.

There is no service pack 2 for Desktop Manager. The latest version of Desktop Manager is v4.0.0.33, available at http://www.blackBerry.com

what you heard is winxp with service pack2 causes lots of various problems when installing and using dekstop manager 4

Actually - SP1 for the Desktop Manager was just posted on 5/6/2005.

The version number is 4.0.1.10 (Apr 27 2005). Link is provided below.

I have not had a chance to test it yet, but I will try to post any findings as soon as I have them.

Have upgraded DM to 4.0.1.10. Not feel any change

SP1 seems to have fixed my sync issues. Desktop manager used to crash consistently with Microsoft error trying to sync calendar. There are lots of references to this type of problem on the forums. So far, so good. Would be nice to just sync without having to repair .OST files, change profiles etc.
