Question LCS On Blackberry....

Please Login to Remove!

First off this is a great site with just tons of info. I just bought my BB 8330 Sunday night so I'm a BB n00b to say the least.

I did search the forums and also google trying to find this answer but came up bust.

On our network we have the option to enter a URL address and access our LCS (Office Communicator 2005) remotly, or use the physical LCS software to access the communicator. I know there is a windows device based application, but I was wondering if there was one for the BB? I saw IM +LCS but it references BES so I'm not 100% sure that is what I want. Plus if I use anything that relates to BES my data plan goes up to 40 something.

I'm guessing I could use the browser, but I would rater have an application if possible. Any ideas?

Thanks for any suggestions

the best thing to do is ask the guys in your company who run the Blackberries.

The only bad thing about that is I'm one of the BES user admins.... O'well guess I could talk to one of the guys at the NOC. Thanks for your reply.

You simply have to configure the BES for LCS, if you installed that piece when the BES was installed. Then install the software on the device. you can get the app for the device from blackerry.com.
