I want change the color of my VZW 8130 and ordered a new black faceplate and battery cover. I was wondering if the 8100's black keyboard will work on the 8130 if i change the bottom cover too. Thanks.

I would guess no since they are a slightly different shape

I noticed they are different shapes, but I was hoping that the underlying pad keyboard circuit board (or whatever it is) was standard between the 8130 and 8100.

To see if the layout is the same go to the thread at the top of the page and look at the disassembly photos provided. I also think that the shape is different enough that it will not work, but there is no harm is trying.
