Hi All,

I am not able to save service center number in my BlackBerry 8830, thus cannot send any msg. I can receive message though. I have tried everything. I havev tried hard reboot option. also have done reformatting of the phone. If I use anyother sim card in the phone. It works and if I use my sim card in my other BlackBerry. It works too. I am not sure what the problem is. My sim works on other cellphone and other sim also work on my cellphone.

PLEASE I need help. I want to give this cellphone to my bro and cant give this to him with bug. Please help..

I would advise you to get a new Sim card yourself and try again

Do you have a Blackberry Data Plan?

Service center number refers to the sms feature dataplan doesn't need to be on the account for sms, it is a basic feature that should work on the device.

If it works in another device it kinda rules that out as well, but get a new Sim card seems like the last option
