Two fine examples of what's called a "thread crap." Posting in a thread with no help whatsoever. Everyone else here helped the OP in some way or another.

You know what I mean. People come here for answers not to be told to use the search function. I get many tips from people when they ask a question and "YOU People" respond. No I dont go to the search function or read the FAQ I scan for topics that interest me in the main forum.

It is indeed ok to suggest to someone that they use the search button as long as they assist in the answer or finding the answer. It is how a forum is best used. What we frown on is someone just telling some to search and not answering the question or helping with the answer in some way.

Any good forum member will use the search feature first, then ask a question when they can't find what they need.

You might learn something by reading the FAQ's.

In my defense, I would never say "do a search, noob" as a first reply, without also giving a helpful suggestion. But the OP was provided with plenty of help already, and while my reply was a bit sarcastic, I was indeed offering a serious suggestion. She needs to use the search function, as most of her questions could've EASILY been answered with a search or two.

Give me a break - easily answered in the faq or just browsing a bit.

And here's her reply to someone suggesting to use the FAQ:

Another reason many folks around here have little patience - some people seem unwilling to put forth any effort to help themselves. If anyone shows they have given a shot to browsing and searching and still need help, everyone here is more than willing to provide step-by-step help. But it's those that don't even try to find the answers and expect to be spoonfed that are often times off-putting.</SPAN>

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700g: BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I believe you need to install the Handheld operating system installation package on to your computer that matches the one on your BlackBerry. If you go Options > About read the number on the third line after the v. Then you can install that OS installation to your computer.

Use your Blackberry Browser to download the .jad file.

And you really need to be using the Search feature as all of this has been discussed here many many times.

1. I never called you a "pop belly man" - my post was in reference to the inherently opaque nature of the internet and the fact that there is no way to know who is behind any given screen name/persona. It wasn't even directed at you, it was directed (in fun) at the respondents. I'm sorry you misunderstood that.

2. Your "retard" comment is in poor taste and rude. You should always re-read what you type before you post to avoid saying things that reflect poorly on yourself.

Good luck...

You need to be careful about how many applications and themes that you load on the device. If you load too many you will be asking "Why am I losing my messages and call logs". Just keep an eye on your memory.

My two cents and sorry that it's off-topic (just trying to prevent a headache)

After reading this thread, calling someone a retard IS in bad taste.
