Hi all, recently started BB development.

I'd like to get a field similar to the "To" field for composing emails where it pops up when you start typing and matches against contacts. The problem i'm having is how do you get a popup like that? The closest i've seen would be to use a PopupScreen but then how do you position it under the field and how would you get it so that the cursor is in the field in the screen behind and not in the popup?

Extending PopupScreen I can translate things around inside the screen but can't figure out how to translate the screen itself.

Any help would be appreciated.

I took a look at it and i'd guess there are two possible solutions.
One would be using graphics to draw something extra.
Or it would be a popupscreen using a callback to hand typing over to the original screen.
Both things would require a lot of thought and quite some effort.
