I don't think too much of the guy. But don't hate him either. He's somewhat entertaining to listen too, but get's old after a few minutes. Pass me a shot of vodka, and a beer chaser.

I guess the SAC has made his decision as you have vodka in your poll! I don't care for Rush much either.

I personally find him a ratings whore but I like that he alienates the base of the Republican Party. He can keep rooting for Obama to fail, to most it just makes him look bad.

Looks like hes right on the money about the failure. If Obama keeps spending the way he is he will never see a second term

I don't agree with rooting for Obama to fail because if he fails, we are all screwed with the amount of money he is spending....
Failure is really not an option at this point... I don't like what he is doing, but if he fails, we all fail.... Our childrens's, children fail...

I'm still amazed that everyone thinks that one man can affect any change.
Rush Limbaugh cannot and Barack Obama cannot.
People complain about a corporate CEO making a huge bonus and then those same people eagerly pay a professional athlete millions to entertain them.
They can't afford to feed their children but spend $50 a week on lottery tickets.
They drive 4X4 SUV's all year round when there isn't any reason and yet they complain about the price of gas.
In some respects, this country is more backward than some 3rd world countries. A lot of Americans don't seem to understand that they live in a country where they control their own destiny.
Quit blaming other people for your situation and don't act surprised when the free handout you think Obama's going to give you isn't free.
I am a conservative Republican. I deserve to keep more of my money because I have assumed the risk of owning and operating a business, the same right that you have but that you are too scared, lazy, or ignorant to accomplish.
If you can do the job I require, I might hire you. If you're hired and do the job efficiently, I'll pay you. If you can't or won't perform the job to my specifications, I'll fire you. I owe you nothing.
Its not the president's job to succeed or fail, its his job to lead the best way he can.
There are still three branches of government and we still outnumber all of the elected officials.
Rush Limbaugh is an entertainer, I love him.

Typical Rush Fan. = betterlate1
To think he has no effect is crazy. He is the face of the party right now. What he says has an effect.
I agree with ndub, no idea why he is still famous.

He's hardly the face of the Republican party right now. Everyone is buying into the (brilliantly placed) words of Rahm in the last couple days. Good for Rahm for this very smart strategy. And test, if he does become the face of the Republican Party? It will be the end of the party as we know it. I hope that doesn't come to pass.

He made it public when hesitated it clearly at the CPAC meetings. And no one called him on it. Romney did say that he did not want Obama to fail but no one made the association that Lunk did above that if Obama fails then we all really fail. Who else is the face of the party? Michael Steele is hardly out there right now and none of the prominent candidates are out there very much. I know Rush will say anything for ratings, I understand that.
YouTube - "Bipartisan DEFINED !" : RUSH LIMBAUGH | CPAC Convention 2009
Rush @ CPAC.
Republican Strategist Mike Murphy's reaction to Rush:
"MR. MURPHY: All these guys. Itxxx8217;s the nature of it. And theyxxx8217;re going to, theyxxx8217;re going to go out andxxx8211;and itxxx8217;s all right, itxxx8217;s a constructive discussion. But in thexxx8211;at the end of the day herexxx8217;s the one statistic we all got to remember: the countryxxx8217;s changing. Ronald Reagan won in 1980 with 51 percent of the vote. We all worship Ronald Reagan. But if that election had been held with the current demographics of America today, Ronald Reagan wouldxxx8217;ve gotten 47 percent of the vote. The math is changing. Anglo votexxx8217;s 74 percent now, not 89. And if we donxxx8217;t modernize conservatism, wexxx8217;re going to have a party of 25 percent of the vote going to Limbaugh rallies, enjoying every, every applause line, ripping the furniture up. Wexxx8217;re going to be in permanent minority status."

How is he a typical Rush fan. What he said was right on the money no one owes anybody any thing. But I forget who I am quoting here you want everything handed to anyone who wants it.

Michael Steele:
xxx8220;My intent was not to go after Rush xxx8211; I have enormous respect for Rush Limbaugh,xxx8221; Steele said in a telephone interview. xxx8220;I was maybe a little bit inarticulate. xxx8230; There was no attempt on my part to diminish his voice or his leadership.xxx8221; [xxx8230;]
xxx8220;I went back at that tape and I realized words that I said werenxxx8217;t what I was thinking,xxx8221; Steele said. xxx8220;It was one of those things where I thinking I was saying one thing, and it came out differently. What I was trying to say was a lot of people xxx8230; want to make Rush the scapegoat, the bogeyman, and hexxx8217;s not.xxx8221;
Rush wins again.

The guy makes money by playing a character on the radio. His actual feelings or beliefs may or may not have anything to do with his radio character.
However, in the case of politicians or wing nuts like this guy, I suggest you include fruitcake in the voting options.

Rush is far too full of himself for my liking. The sound of his voice annoys me. A few years ago I listened to him for a while, but I can't stand him now. I think he's all about Rush more than anything else.
