hi,

i am BES 8310 curve user with exchange .My manager wants to keep things simple, meaning when he deletes messages on his PC they shouldnt be deleted on blackberry, and when he delete messages on blackberry it should prompt to delete message like only on handheld or both handheld and PC, and if he select handheld and PC both the message should be deleted on PC as well as blackberry.

my settings are

blackberry manager settings are:
wireless reconcilation is on

handheld settings are:
option/email reconcilation/ wireless reconcile: on
option/email reconcilation/ delete on : prompt


I am confused with the settings , should i keep the wireless reconcilation on , on both BB manager and handheld or only on handheld

Your settings are as they should be given what you want the device to do. Just don't set Desktop Manager to sync with the Desktop, leave it set to wireless reconciliation.

Is there a reason you're using Desktop Manager for sync seeing as it seems your syncing wirelessly with the server? My only use for DM is to upgrade my OS, add/remove apps, and charge my device.
