It's exactly like the Roger's update. Auto-dim is on by default with no way of turning it off. I'm guessing they did this so people wouldn't complain as much of their battery dying, especially since RIM has been slow to get an OEM case with a sleeper magnet out.

But I *believe* this is the same exact version being tested by T-Mobile.

All of these are written by RIM and tested, and released, by the carriers.

anyone who installed it and using the O2 themes: can you please check and see if any of the O2 themes seperate the SMS/MMS into their own folders? So far I have only found the Voda today theme that does it and I have been using it for some time but would like to see if any of the Zen themes have that too.

Thanks,
SK

OK, I did this (and I have done this before on my 7100t) and now I have the following problem:

MY "home" screen says "BlackBerry Platform 2.2.0.37" at the top and has a list of:
  • Saved Messages
  • Options
  • Address Book
  • Compose
  • Alarm
  • Calendar
  • Global Search
  • SetupWizard
  • Media Calculator

The only ones that actually do anything are the "options" and Calculator. Othwers give me an error.

The real problem here is that the desktop manager is not connecting, so I can't do anything to the BB now. Please help.

THX!

Yup, that just got me back to the same home screen. I was doing 3 different things here while installing the OS, so I may have missed something that was not correctly completed during install, but I really just need to be able top connect back to the desktop manager.

What can I do on the handheld to make this happen?

I did this update and I do not have an auto dim any more. I wonder why some have that problem and I do not?

Just finished loading this update and I can confirm that the tracball issue is resolved. Does anyone know if T-Mobile has fixed the provisioning issue?
