there would be no difference between the 8800 and the 8810.

88xx device - gps + full qwerty - camera
83xx device - full qwerty + camera
81xx device - suretype + camera

xx10 - gps
xx20 - wifi
xx30 - cdma + gps +EvDO (previous xx03e)

Has anyone seen a .20 firmware for the 8800? I haven't found one. Interestingly, I don't have BB Maps working on my device. I'm wondering if this is because I am on AT&T? Also, I have noticed a slight degredation in signal strength on my device as well. Neither of these are enough to change back. I love the spell check and interface. The other thing that I have found to be neat is that it when I use BES to add a contact for an email that it downloads a lot more data about the person (phone number, etc?) that can easily be added to my address book. It is a quick way for me to look up someone's phone number in the company.

Sorry, my error.

When you say it is going to run "quite well", does that mean it handle the memory better?

Does it still leak?

Default Pretty Good

That is a good way to stop people from asking for 4.5.

Go home, little boy. You're too young to play with the grown ups.

Why we care = they are the rules
Why homo rule - if it is such a homo rule, Go ask RIM directly for the software.

This kind of remark is not wanted or tolerated here.

Some folks do take themselves way too seriously here, but you need to learn this thing called tact.

I would disagree, re: taking themselves too seriously. This site's relationship with RIM, as the preeminent user-to-user community for the Blackberry platform, is likely quite tight. Tacitly condoning the dissemination of RIM's IP by allowing it to be freely traded would undermine this relationship. That is something I'm sure the site's management takes (and rightfully so) very seriously.

Back on topic....

I'm running 4.5.0.9(11) on my 8800 and it works very well. Save for BlackBerry Maps which does not show up on the device.
