I'm new to the blackberry community and need some guidance on updating the OS on my Pearl 8130. My service provider is Alltel. The current OS is4.3.0.81. It does not support A2DP bluetooth. I did not know this in advance (lying Alltel rep) and purchased a set of Motorola S9 bluetooth headphones. It worked great for a week or so, then the music would only play from the phones speaker and all the S9 was good for was phone calls. I just want them to work... Any links to the correct OS and some instructions on how to update it on my phone would be greatly appriciated. I'm apprehensive on doing it without some help. I'd hate to screw up my only phone.

Your OS does in fact have the A2DP profile to support stereo bluetooth. You've got to be having other issues that are causing the problem.

If it didn't, it would not have "worked great for a week or so"

I would suggest refreshing the service list for your headset. Go into Bluetooth, highlight the S9, device properties>menu>refresh service list

Did you make any changes or add applications just after the last time it worked properly. Your rep didn't lie if it worked great in the beginning .......
