First of app, what is the model number of your device? Please put the exact model number of your device in your profile, and I know it isn't 3G as there is no BB with that model number. Perhaps it is a 9300?

1. Press the ALT key and the letter. That will insert the number.

2. Don't do that so I can't say.

3. 38 mb is a good number to have free with just Google maps. Use the SD card for music, photos and ringtones.

4. That is the BB icon which indicates that you are connected to RIM.

hey Dubdub! thanks for the quick reply!! i added my model, though i am not 100% its the right one..also added my pin, if anyone really like to help with this kind of stuff, add me!!

1)my question is a bit more complicated then that, i didnt explain myself properly, lets try this again, lets say you are in front of a sign, and it reads "for a free car, call 1-800-FREE-CAR"

on your BB, you start typing the number, 1, 8, 0, 0, OOPS what number is F?? R?? on a standard keyboard the little letters are underneath the number but not on BB keyboard!!

2) no problem, i might have to call my carrier

3)ok glad to know it is "normal"

4)thanks!!!! was really wondering and couldnt find the answer!!

Just dial the letters. The BlackBerry will figure it out for you. As indicated, press the ALT key to get the letters.

I would remove your PIN unless you really want to get inundated with messages.

For number 1. as I said, press the ALT key and the letter. 1800ALT-F, ALT-R, etc.
