Os 6 got released for 9700 today on my phone - not sure whether to upgrade. I like OS 5 but not entirely sure this is a good move? Any thoughts?

What I found out is if you do not have too many 3rd party apps, OS 6 will work for you, but if you will end up with less than 30-40MB of free space, then skip it. Also make sure you shrink the installation before upgrading if you decide to go ahead.

.448 just reset itself, all my folders, hidden files, customization is gone, the phone reset itself back to show everything and just totally ignore my folder organization. Also I found it going through Enterprise Activation, which I canceled. Would this have anything to do with IT admin pushing something or remotely resetting something? Why would it happen?

Re: OS: 9700 6.0.0.1879/6.0.0.448 (All Languages)
I have a terrible memory leak on this version. After rebooting, I'll have about 40M free. After about 12 hours, it will be down to near 20M free. I've tried tracking usage of various program, but no luck. I've searched this forum, but come up empty (but that is more likely than not due to some weakness in my search strategies). Any ideas?

The BBM cursor issue is fixable by updating to the new BBM that was released a few days ago (BBM ver 5.0.2.12). Just saying, since this is a problem many people have had with this version of OS6

Re: OS: 9700 6.0.0.1879/6.0.0.448 (All Languages)
I just loaded it today and seems good except for no option to Start GPS Navagation in Black Berry Maps. That was an option in the OS 5 Blackberry Maps program. Anyone know if this is removed for some reason from the OS 6 version of Blackberry Maps Program?
Thanks!!

I loaded it today and seems to work good. The only problem I am having is that Blackberry Maps has no option to Start GPS Navigation. Anyone know if this is available in the OS 6 Blackberry Maps Version?
Thanks!!

Tried this again the other night, but instead of upgrading over my existing load of OS5, I did a complete wipe, and loaded up a fresh, bare install of OS6. Works fine, but only load the programs you absolutely need.
