Good Morning All,

I have a question regarding a BES server and around 10 BES users. We are a small organization with a number of users based in UK and Germany. We have been asked if two users in Germany can have the latest blackberry model and connect back to the BES in UK. My question is....if the German users connect to the BES in the UK, are they going to be charged an international call to pick up send emails from the UK BES. Apologies, I am new to all this and am not 100% sure how it works

Nope. The location of the server does not matter.

So, how does the BES communicate with the blackberry. I want to avoid adding these users to our UK BES to then be handed massive phone bills.

They build secure tunnels through the Internet. As long as the device has a German SIM card that is properly provisioned with a BlackBerry data plan, there will be no massive phone bills as the device will not be roaming.
