Default Silence Phone Call

Please Login to Remove!

For the Blackberry Curve, does anyone know how to silence an incoming phone call without sending it to voice mail (so the caller doesn't know that their call is being ignored)?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8300/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/107)

Never tried the. Mute button, but I always hit the volume buttons on the side, that does the trick.

Wanted to know this too. On my old 8700c all I had to do was roll the wheel down to "Ignore" and it would silence. I wish I could do that with the trackball, but I guess that's not an option on my 8310?

The red "End" button functions as Ignore. The call will immediately go to voice mail.

Or if you press the Mute button, the ringer will stop on the phone and the call will go to voice mail as if you never pressed the button. (ie after typically 4 rings)

Any of the side buttons will mute the ringer.
