I noticed some Gmail delays via the web access earlier today myself.

Simply getting in wasn't the concern. While the web page was up, I kept seeing "there was a problem.... retrying in xx seconds..."

It was unusable... couldn't send, refresh, etc...

I just got a load of emails to my BB (15 of them) from over an hour ago. Hopefully, whatever the issue was is being fixed.

It does appear to be fixed. I was not able to even get into my mailbox via the web. I got a message saying an error has occured and that the Gmail Team was aware and working on it.

I got it this afternoon but it seems to work fine now. I probably only last about an hour.

i use AIM through Google Talk and it has been having trouble connecting or staying connected...don't know if it's related or not since AIM is through Jabber.
