Firstly, any email sent through Outlook on a PC only shows similar to a read receipt on the connected BlackBerry handset. It's not possible to open the sent message on the device. Is this default behavior? If so what settings change(s) can be made & where that will allow my user to view the Outlook sent message on the BlackBerry itself?
Second - If my end user deletes a message on the connected BlackBerry device it doesn't automatically delete - the message is still viewable in its original location when the user views their mailbox via Outlook on a PC. Again, is this default behavior? If so what settings change(s) can be made & where to make it so that any message deleted on the handset is placed into Deleted Items within Outlook when viewed on a PC?
Mails you send from Outlook, only show the header on the Blackberry. To see the message: Press the Menu button, click on "More". The Blackberry will load the message. This is to save bandwidth.
You can set the Blackberry, so deleted Items delete in Outlook as well. To configure this, being in your message list, press the Menu button and choose "Options" > "Email Reconciliation". Set to "Delete on Mailbox & Handheld". Save.
