Hi there!
I have moved from a Win Mobile to a BB after 4 years . I have a BES account and my company uses MS Exchange as the email platform.

Everything seems good so far except that that I don't see the same subfolders in my BB as I do in Outlook. Even once I am able to view these subfolders via "Folder Redirection", it does not sync with Exchange and Outlook. I use many folders that I need to keep referring to off and on. Seems like the BB messages screen is different from my inbox in my outlook. I'd like to replicate my Outlook folders with what I see in my BB. Is that even possible?

First off, email doesn't sync on the BB. It is pushed and then reconciled.

If you want subfolders redirected to the BB you need to enable them under folder redirection. By default only Inbox and Sent Items are redirected.
