Quick question:

If app world is currently not supported for my country/carrier, how am I supposed to download any apps since they are no longer available directly from the developer.

Not that I'm aware of. However, if you do find a way, please share!

That last part of your original post. . . . I had thought that in most cases third-party apps were still available through other sources, and RIM apps were available through the old methods, like moble.blackberry.com. Afterall, what do people who still use trackwheel devices do?

Is there an app that you want that you can't find anywhere for you to be able to download?

Playing around today, I think I figured out a workaround:

1. Turn all connections off
2. Turn wi-fi connection on
3. Stary appword
4. DL any apps you want
5. Once you finish with app world, turn on the wireless network. You will have access to App world for about 15 more minutes or so and that you will get "bb app world is not supported in your country"

This seems to work in Macedonia. Let me know if it works in other non supported countries.
